Call for Candidates – Board of Directors

Tang Soo Do Moo Do Kwan Federation of Great Britain

The Tang Soo Do Moo Do Kwan Federation of Great Britain is inviting expressions of interest and nominations for positions on a newly formed Board of Directors.

This is an important step in strengthening the Federation’s governance, transparency, and long-term direction.

Purpose of the Board

The Board of Directors will be responsible for:

• Providing general oversight of the Federation

• Upholding and safeguarding the Federation Constitution

• Supporting good governance, accountability, and ethical leadership

• Ensuring that the interests and voices of all stakeholders—including instructors, students, and member schools—are fairly represented

Who Can Apply

Applications and nominations are welcome from:

• Certified instructors

• Senior students and long-standing members

• Individuals with relevant experience in leadership, governance, finance, safeguarding, legal matters, administration, or organisational development

Prior board experience is welcome but not essential. Commitment to the values, integrity, and future of Tang Soo Do Moo Do Kwan is essential.

• Willingness to contribute time and expertise

• A genuine commitment to the growth and unity of the Federation

Term & Commitment

• Board roles are voluntary

• Expected commitment includes attendance at scheduled board meetings and reasonable preparation time
